Who is the ex CIA? Robert David Steele was born in the USA in 1952 and spent his formative years all over the world as the son of an oil engineer, including four years in Viet-Nam from 1963-1967. He has earned multiple degrees including graduate degrees in international relations and in public administration and is a distinguished graduate of the Naval War College. He has been a Marine Corps infantry and an intelligence officer as well as an Adjutant at the battalion, regimental, and division levels, leaving the Marine Corps to become a CIA spy, serving three clandestine tours overseas and three tours in Washington. He was invited to leave the CIA to create the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity where he founded the modern discipline of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT). Since 1993 he has been a small business CEO and the chief proponent for intelligence and governance reform, and more recently, election reform. In 2017 he was recommended for the Nobel Peace Prize for his proponency of Open Source Everything Engineering (OSEE), which costs 20% of less than the failed Western model that is 50% waste.
