Video of activist Miracle Boyd aggressively confronting CPD officers during a MOB riot in Grant Park has resurfaced, after she had taken it down.
Later, Boyd and friend explain how they "gonna be RICH as hell" and flaunt the amount of money raised on her GoFundMe because "white people love a good sob story"
Her GoFundMe reads: "The video shows Miracle speaking with officers, while backing away from an increasingly agitated police force. In the process of Miracle attempting to deescalate, video captures an as of now unidentified officer knock Miracle's phone away & throw a left punch that struck Miracle in her face. Miracle is going to require medical support in her journey to repair the physical & emotional damage done by this violent encounter. All funds raised will go directly to supporting Miracle in receiving the medical, dental, & mental health support she requires as she continues on this journey of healing."
This while 18 police officers were hurt during the "peaceful" protest. As protesters approached the statue of Christopher Columbus, some people in the crowd used rocks, fireworks, frozen bottles and other objects to attack officers. 'We were outnumbered and unprepared" said one CPD officer
