Socialism; A political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

So this means that ONE CLASS of People, let's call "Welfare People", can stay home and not work; getting high on drugs and alcohol, having babies (for the working people to support), receive FREE Food, Housing (with most the Luxuries as the WORKING CLASS), Medical Care, Transportation, Vacations, Education and etc.  WHILE THE WORKING CLASS of People work 40 to 112 Hour weeks to take care of their family, PAY INCOME, MEDICARE, PROPERTY AND THE MANY OTHE TAXES ALONG WITH THE MANY INSURANCE PREMIUMS  and SUPPORT the Welfare People.

What is socialism in simple terms?

In simple terms, Democratic Socialism as an ideology is an extension of the liberal propagation of democracy altered to suit the needs of all the countries of the world. It is an ideology that believes that the economy and the society should function democratically to meet the needs of the whole community.
